I am an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, working in the oncology field for 15 years. I am a graduate of Rockhurst University where I received my BSN in 2005 and graduated from Research College of Nursing in 2017 with my MSN. I am an Oncology Certified Nurse. I am passionate about the treatment and care of cancer patients and their family. I enjoy the patient/provider relationship that forms over the treatment course. It is rewarding to build that trust and security for an individual going through treatment. I am most interested in treating solid tumors, especially lung cancer, GI cancers and head and neck cancers, but find the oncology field most exciting with all the advances in treatment.

I grew up on a small farm in central Missouri and I still enjoy gardening and being outdoors. I live in Kansas City now with my husband and my daughter. We enjoy traveling, going to concerts, cheering on the Chiefs, visiting local breweries, walks with our dog and spending time with our family and friends.
