Craigin Shimmens, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at MidAmerica Cancer Care, a part of Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute located in Kansas City, MO. She is affiliated with Research Medical Center, Belton Regional Medical Center, and Western Missouri Medical Center.

Craigin specializes in comprehensive cancer care treatment and works collaboratively with her physician partners and patients to provide a seamless continuum of care for each of her patient’s unique care needs. She also has over 6 years of extensive hospital experience as an ER nurse at a Level I Trauma Center prior to joining the MidAmerica Cancer Care team.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Missouri in 2016 and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Central Missouri in 2022.
