Hospital and Services Overview

Overland Park Regional Medical Center—part of HCA Midwest Health, Kansas City’s leading healthcare and cancer care provider—announces the opening of Sarah Cannon at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), the center will integrate cancer diagnosis and treatment services under one roof, bringing together medical oncology, surgical breast oncology, gynecologic oncology, outpatient cancer therapies, genetic counseling, specialized oncology patient navigators, sub-specialty oncology and access to extensive clinical trials. Additional support services will include oncology programs and resources such as patient navigation to assist patients and their families through the many facets of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare. Midwest Breast Care will be adjacent to the facility.

In 2014, HCA Midwest Health partnered with internationally recognized Sarah Cannon Cancer Network to bring the most advanced cancer care available to the Kansas City community. In Johnson County, Sarah Cannon at Menorah Medical Center was established in early 2014. With the addition of Sarah Cannon at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, this marks a new era of integrative comprehensive cancer care in Johnson County. Sarah Cannon also operates at Belton Regional Medical Center, Centerpoint Medical Center, Lee’s Summit Medical Center and Research Medical Center. Centerpoint Medical Center will open a freestanding cancer center on its Independence, Missouri, campus in Summer
